ICRC's bureau to be opened in Aden

ADEN, March. 16 (Saba) - General Secretary of Aden's Local Council Abdul-Karim Shaif discussed on Tuesday with the head of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation Jean Nicolas Marti the arrangements to open a bureau for the committee in Aden governorate.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation fields and assistance offered by the committee to Aden governorate in different health and humanitarian areas, confirming the governorate's adherence to provide all the facilities for the committee.

Shaif appreciated the assistance of the committee and its role in supporting the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Saada governorate.

For his part, the ICRC's official said that the committee will open a new bureau in Amran governorate to provide the people there with the health and humanitarian services.
