Malaysian-Yemeni Exhibition to be opened on Wednesday

SANA'A, March 16 (Saba)-The biggest Malaysian Yemeni Exhibition will be opened on Wednesday in Sana’a capital.

The exhibition is to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Ali Mujawar, on Wednesday in Sana’a Expo Center with participation of over 100 Malaysian firms.

Chairman of the General Investment Authority (GIA), Salah al-Attar said the exhibition would be a chance to enhance trade ties between Yemen and Malaysia thought bilateral discussions among Yemeni and Malaysian businessmen

For his part, Ali Alatas, the Chairman of the Malay Chamber of Commerce said that the exhibition would be main gate for entering Malaysian services and products to the Yemeni market, and would be a chance to know about investment opportunities in Yemen.

According to 2008 statistic, the investments between Yemen and Malaysia raised from $ 47.7 million in 1990 to $ 401.8 million in 2008.
