Yemen, Jordan review higher education cooperation

AMMAN, March 15 (Saba)- The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh Ba-Surrah discussed on Monday with his Jordanian counterpart Waleed al-Ma'ani a number of issues related to cooperation between the two ministries and means of reinforcing communication and improving cooperation.

The meeting discussed the possibility of holding a scientific and cultural week for the Jordanian universities in Yemen universities.

The minister, Ba-Surrah, reviewed Yemen's development in the field of higher education and scientific research, expressing appreciation for the Jordanian Higher Education Ministry for the care provided for Yemen students in Jordan.

He affirmed concern of Yemen to improve relations with Jordan in various scientific and academic fields.

Ba-Surrah invited his Jordanian counterpart to visit Yemen in order to get acquainted with the Yemeni experience this regard.

For his part, the Jordanian minister praised the distinguished level of relations between the two countries in the field of higher education and scientific research as well as the big progress recently achieved in Yemen in this area.
