TwinTech –Yemen Branch signs MoU with UPM

SANA'A, March 15 (Saba)-International University of Technology Twintech –Yemen Branch signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding MoU of academic cooperation with University Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The memo includes exchanging visits between teaching staff and cooperation in field of scientific research between the two universities.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education and scientific research Ali Qasim affirmed importance of improving quality of the educational programs in the domestic universities to better outcomes of these universities in order to meet needs of the labor market. He wished International University of Technology Twintech would be a good example for the high level Malaysian education.

He said that Yemen is looking forward enhancing academic cooperation between Yemen and Malaysia in domain of higher education.

The Secretary General of International University of Technology Twintech –Yemen Branch Khaled al-Alimi said that the university would start to carry out articles of the memo by setting up a research center in cooperation with the UPM.

He said that the university is teaching many programs in English language including businessmen management.

The UPM Deputy Reactor Anai Adris reviewed specializations of the university, saying that around 3,000 foreign students are studying in the university.

She affirmed importance of the memo to improve quality of the educational programs of the Twintech University.
