Yemeni-Tunisian road technical committee convened 1st meeting

SANA'A, March. 15 (Saba) - The 1st meeting of Yemeni-Tunisian Technical Joint Committee on public works and roads was held on Monday.

The meeting was co-chaired by Undersecretary of Public Works and Roads Ministry Tawfiq al-Usta and director of great works management in the Tunisian Ministry of Equipment, Housing and Land Development Nabil bin Ghali.

The meeting dealt with drawing an executive future program for the cooperation agreement in the equipment, housing, public works and urban development singed between the two countries on May 21, 2001.

The meeting also displayed the Yemeni experience in area of housing the limited-income people in addition to the experiences of the two countries in the fields of public works and roads.

The Tunisian delegation visited the different sectors of the ministry and Road Maintenance Fund and was briefed on the tasks and responsibilities of each sector.
