SANA'A, March 15 (Saba) - A Malaysian businessmen delegation led by Syed Ali Al Attas, Chairman of the Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry arrived on Monday in Sana'a to participate in the Yemeni–Malaysian festival of trade and economic cooperation to be held next Wednesday in Sana'a.

The festival comes within the implementation of the agreement between the two governments to boost economic cooperation, al-Attas said, pointing out that 70 Malaysian businessmen and 47 companies specialized in various food, chemical, electric and car industries will participate in the festival.

Malaysian products would be displayed at the event and workshops between Yemeni and Malaysian businessmen and officials would be held as well. The talks will focus on the best ways to forge Yemen-Malaysia trade cooperation.

Furthermore, Malaysian technical education and tourist institutions will present their expertise, al-Attas said, affirming that Malaysian institutions are ready to train Yemeni cadres in the tourist and technical education areas.

At the festival, a memorandum of understanding would be signed between the Yemeni Chamber of Industry and Trade in Sana'a and the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia.
