Libyan Gaddafi receives Arab Parliament delegation

TRIPOLI, March 14 (Saba)- Commander of the Libyan Revolution, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi received on Sunday a delegation from the Arab Parliament headed by Huda Bin Amer, the Parliament Speaker, and the MP Mansour al-Zandani, deputy PS.

During the meeting, they reviewed the current Arab situations and the role done by the Arab Parliament to push the Arab democratic process ahead in order to upgrade the Arab joint work.

The delegation handed over to Gaddafi decisions of the Arab Parliament on developing the Arab joint work, topped by the Yemeni initiative to activate the Arab joint work, as well as strategy of the Arab national security as these decisions are meant to protect the supreme interests of the Arab nation.

The parliamentarians affirmed the importance of inserting these decisions in the agenda of the Arab summit set to be held in Libya.

The Libyan leader, Gaddafi, welcomed the Arab Parliamentary delegation, wishing success for its national tasks and affirmed that he will pay proper attention to the presented decisions of the Arab Parliament.
