SANA'A, March 14 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil discussed on Sunday with the French ambassador to Yemen Joseph Silva aspects of cooperation between the two countries in areas of industrial and commercial sectors reforms.
The talks focused on the final steps to prepare for an industrial development strategy as it is considered one of the most important economic development factors in Yemen.
They also touched on procedures to improve work environment and the Made in Yemen Program which aims at reinforcing consumers' trust in the local product.
The minister praised the support provided by France for development programs in Yemen through the French Embassy and the French Development Agency (AFD).
For his part, the French ambassador showed readiness of his country to cooperate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in related areas.
