Malaysia Tourism Exhibition ends with distinctive participation by Yemen

SANA'A, March 14 (Saba) - The Malaysia Tourism and Tours Exhibition has concluded its activities with the participation of representatives of more than 25 countries, including Yemen.

The Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih, head of the Yemeni delegation, confirmed the importance of the Yemeni participation in this international event in contributing to activating the tourism sector in Yemen .

He also revealed that the ministry is preparing a study which aims at encouraging Malaysian investment in the fields of establishing Malaysian institutes and colleges in Yemen in order to train Yemeni cadres in the fields of tourism and hotel management.

On the sidelines of the event, the minister held talks with a number of representatives of Singaporean and Indonesian tourism companies over ways of developing the bilateral cooperation between the ministry and these companies.

He also agreed with a several Malaysian tourist magazines to set a media promotion for tourism sector in Yemen.
