PM: Yemeni woman has exceeded time of marginalization

Sana'a, March 14,(Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar stressed on Sunday that the Yemeni woman today, under the patronage of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, has exceeded the time of marginalization and closed doors.

This came in his speech at the launch of the 2nd sports and cultural-social festival of women, organized by the Public Administration of Women at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

"The Yemeni woman today is flying in wide spaces of creativity and uniqueness and honorable presence and reaping the rights allowed to her by the state in the various areas of life and exerting her full potentials to serve her society" Mujawar said.

"The President put the Yemeni woman among his most important priorities and gave her all attention in terms of human value that she represents, as a partner of life and her expected role in building herself first and then serving her environment and society in order to be a model depended on to achieve the aspiration of development and the cultural advancement of our country", Mujawar said.

He noted that the organization of this women festival which comes amid atmospheres filled of confidence and hope and looking forward to a bright future where women could achieve a lot of their ambitions and aspirations.

Mujawar added "It is not strange for the Yemeni girl to hold such creative and humanitarian demonstrations in its annual festival which its revenues are allocated for the favor of the cancer victims, as she is the compassionate mother, the benevolent sister, the generous wife and the daughter, who loves her family and society.

Above all this and that she has become an ideal official, a virtuous educator , a creative, a preserving worker and a good citizen, who is struggling silently to get her rights and is committed to perform her duties without negligence and that is a feature of the Yemeni woman in all the time and when, he pointed out.

"The Yemeni woman finds herself closer to response to the call of duty and the initiative to present effective human touches with pure emotion that are free of any interests to make such this carnival ,despite its importance in the auspices of the talented and creative, an opportunity to devote the charitable and humanitarian work." Mujawar indicated.

Concluding his speech, the premier commended the efforts of the ministry and the organizers of this creative demonstration and humanitarian initiative.
