NEW DELHI, March 13 (Saba) -- India on Saturday condemned yesterday's bomb blasts in city of Lahore, Pakistan, taking scores of lives and injuring many women and children, and also rejected Islamabad's allegation about New Delhi's hand in the blasts, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
In a statement, Indias External Affairs Ministry said that New Delhi has no interest in destabilising Pakistan.
The statement said: "Indian Government is deeply disappointed by statements emanating from Pakistan alleging an Indian hand in yesterday's attacks in Lahore.
We categorically reject the allegations of India's involvement in such acts or activities. Government has reiterated on several occasions, and at the highest level, that India has no interest in destabilizing Pakistan."
Through the statement, India also condemned the loss of lives in the blasts, and asserted that "such unfounded and unsubstantiated allegations by Pakistan put a strain on our bilateral relationship." It added the government of India "unequivocally condemns" the series of bomb blasts in Lahore.
