Turkish official praises Yemeni-Turkish ties

SANA'A, March 13 (Saba) - Turkey's Minister of Economic Affairs Ali Babacan has praised the Yemeni-Turkish strong and distinct relations, the state-run 26sep.net said on Saturday.

The statement came in a press conference held in Ankara city on the sidelines of the Economic Forum which was attended by a number of journalists, economists, ambassadors and representatives of the Middle East and the Mediterranean Sea states.

Turkey has deep-rooted relations with Yemen and all Arab countries, Babacan said.

He said that Turkey is interested in enhancing Turkish-Arab relations, adding he has held talks with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa and several meetings with Arab Foreign Ministers.

There is understanding in several issues between Turkey and Arab countries, he said.
