UNITED NATIONS, March 12 (Saba) -- Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday condemned the recent series of terrorist attacks in Pakistan, including the suicide bombings earlier today in Lahore as well as the attack on the office of the humanitarian NGO, World Vision International, his spokesperson Martin Nesirky told the daily press briefing, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The attacks, aimed at an army convoy, reportedly resulted in the death of 43 and the injury of some 100 more.
Extending his condolences to the families of the victims and the Government and wishing those injured full recovery, Ban reiterated that "no cause can justify such inhuman and indiscriminate acts of violence."
