Dhamar University to attend 17th round of higher studies, scientific research

DHAMAR, March 12 (Saba) – Dhamar University will take part in the 17th round of the Arab Council for Higher Studies and Scientific Research of the Arab Union of Universities in Egypt's capital, Cairo, on 13-16 March.

The university was one of the seven Arab universities chosen by the council for the round.

President of the university Ahmed al-Hadhrani said that the round will discuss several issues related to improving the higher education and scientific research at Arab universities in line with development plans in their countries.

The council is concerned with discussing approaches that focus on developing and modernizing the methods of scientific research as well as improving the approaches to face all difficulties facing the Arab universities.

In the last round, head of the council chose al-Hadhrani as a member in the council in recognition of his efforts to develop higher education and scientific research.
