Chinese-Yemeni Friendship Association delegation visits Aden

ADEN, March 11 (Saba) - The Chinese-Yemeni Friendship Association delegation, currently visiting Yemen, paid a visit on Thursday to Aden province to get acquainted with the developmental reality of the province.

During the visit, the delegation met with Aden Governor Adnan al-Jeffri who briefed the delegation on the developmental reality of the province and a number of projects accomplished in the different investment and economic sectors.

The governor praised the Yemeni-Chinese historical relations, calling to developing and expanding these relations to include the various economic aspects so as to serve the common interest of the two friendly countries.

For his part, Head of the Friendship Association of Chinese people with the peoples of the world expressed his happiness to visit Aden, and his willingness to play a significant role to strengthen the excellent relations of cooperation between Yemen and China and expand economic cooperation.

In the same regard, the Chinese Consul in Aden said that the two-day visit of the Chinese delegation to Aden comes within the consolidation of twining the city of Aden and the Chinese city of Shanghai and strengthening the relations between them in the different areas as well as discussing the contribution of China in infrastructure development of the Fee Zone Aden.

During the visit, the delegation would discussed with the province leadership the Chinese support in the field flood water drainage and the participation of Yemeni businessmen in the international exhibition to be held in Shanghai in next May, the Chinese consul added.
