Committees to address citizens' issues in southern eastern provinces

SANA'A, March 11 (Saba) – Committees have been formed from the Parliament and the Shura Council members to address the citizens' issues in the southern and eastern provinces according to the directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the weekly 26 September has learned.

An informed source said that the committees would begin their functions within few days through looking into those issues and meeting with citizens and social figures and suggesting treatments, so as to serve the interests of the country and meet the legitimate demands for the people of those provinces in accordance with the constitution and the laws in force.

The committees would submit detailed reports on various issues of concern to citizens to the leadership, which would work to tackle them, the source added.

President Saleh indicated, in a lecture delivered last Monday during a visit to the Supreme Military Academy, to the formation of committees from the sons of the southern and eastern provinces to dialogue with the owners of the real and legitimate demands.
