PM meets Head of Chinese-Yemeni Friendship Association

SANA'A, March 10 (Saba) – Prime Minister Ali Mujawar met here on Wednesday with the Head of Chinese-Yemeni Friendship Association Chen Khao Su.

In the meeting, they discussed relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the political, trade, investment and cultural areas as well as the vital role of the friendship association in this aspect.

Mujawar called on the Chinese investors to invest in Yemen, especially in the promising sectors, so as to strengthen the friendship relations and serve the common interests of the two peoples.

He lauded the developed trade relations between the two countries, noting the constant communication between the two countries at all levels and its positive impact on strengthening the bilateral relations.

For his part, the Chinese official confirmed his country's keenness to activate the Chinese-Yemeni Friendship Association's missions in order to reinforce the investment role of the Chinese companies in Yemen.

Su praised the rapid development witnessed by Yemen in the recent years , pointing that he would deliver ,during this visit, an award to President Ali Abdullah Saleh on behalf of the Chinese people in recognition of his efforts and role in strengthening the historic relations of Yemeni-Chinese friendship.
