Shura Speaker meets Iraqi ambassador to bid farewell

SANA'A, March 10 (Saba) – The Shura Council's Speaker Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani met here on Wednesday with the Iraqi ambassador in Sana'a Talal al-Aubaidi to bid farewell to him on ending his term as ambassador to Yemen.

In the meeting, the Iraqi ambassador briefed Abdul Ghani on the developments in Iraq in light of the recent parliamentary elections taken place in Iraq.

He voiced his appreciation to the Yemeni government for care and support presented to him, pointing to the ongoing development witnessed by the Yemeni-Iraqi relations in this period.

For his part, Abdul Ghani noted the role played by the Iraqi ambassador in developing the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

He expressed his satisfaction with the continuous development witnessed by Iraq in political and democratic areas.
