Pakistani forces arrest key Al-Qaeda suspect
[07/March/2010]

ISLAMABAD, March 7 (Saba) -- Pakistani security forces Sunday said they arrested a close associate of Osama Bin Laden in a raid in Southern Karachi port city, said reports here, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Abu Yahya was arrested in a raid in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi port city, local news channels reported citing official sources.

Abu Yahya is believed to be one of the close associates of Osama Bin Laden, chief of terror network Al-Qaeda and among the top 10 fugitives wanted by CIA.

When contacted interior ministry sources also confirmed the arrest. They said Abu Yahya was arrested along with two other Al-Qaeda suspects earlier this week. They added that he has been shifted to Islamabad for interrogation.
