Santiago, March 5 (Saba) A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck Chile today, the US Geological Center announced. The aftershock that followed the 8.8 magnitude of last week took place at the depth of 35 km, some 25 miles to the west of Concepcion, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

There were no reports on material damage or human losses.

Saba
