Yemen, Algeria eager to form joint agriculture committee

SANA'A, March 01 (Saba) - Yemen and Algeria affirmed on Monday the importance of speeding up the formation of the joint agriculture committee and to be convened soon.

Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mansour al-Hawshabi and the Algerian ambassador to Yemen Abdul Wahab Bu Zaher agreed on implementing all executive programs of the Memorandum of Understandings and agreements signed between Yemen and Algeria previously.

Al-Hawshabi and Bu Zaher touched on the significance of exchanging agriculture expertise in domains of livestock, beekeeping, growing olive, agricultural quarantine and plant protection.

The meeting also dealt with the several issues to strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural field.
