Turkish schools to be established in Yemen

SANA'A, Feb 13 (Saba) - Mayor of the Capital Sana'a Abdul-Rahman al-Akwa'a laid on Saturday the foundation stone for a project of establishing the international Turkish schools with an initial total cost of US $5 million.

The launching ceremony was attended by Deputy Rector of Sana'a University Tawfiq Sufyan, the Turkish ambassador Mohammed Donamaz and a number of Turkish businessmen.

The General Director of Yemen-Turkish Cooperative Company Mohammed Yelmaz pointed out that the project that would be finished next year includes a number of academic and scientific facilities on 7000 Meter square.

The Turkish businessmen voiced their admiration of the investment climates in Yemen, affirmed their intention to expand their investment activities in Yemen.
