GPC and Syrian Bath party hold talks in Sana'a

SANA'A, Feb. 09 ( Saba)- Yemen's General People Congress party (GPC) held talks on Tuesday in Sana'a with Syrian Socialist Bath party co-chaired by the assistant secretary generals of both parties.

In the talks, the GPC assistant secretary general Sultan al-Barakan affirmed concern of the party to enhance cooperation with Syrian bath party to serve ties of both nations. Al Barakan also reviewed state efforts exerted to face plots targets unity, stability and security of Yemen. He valued the Syrian rejection for any intervention in internal affairs of Yemen.

The GCC official also pointed out to the outcomes of London conference which was last month to discuss issues and means of offering support for Yemen.
For his part, the assistant secretary general of the Syrian bath party Abdullah al Ahmar said that the visit aims at developing ties between the two parties to contribute to improve cooperation between the two countries.
He voiced concern of his party to enhance current cooperation with the GPC, renewing the Syrian position which supports unity and stability of Yemen.

Then, the delegation of the Syrian bath party paid a visit to al-Saleh Mosque in Sana'a capital and handed over a handwritten holy Quran Book presented by the Syrian President Bashar al-Asaf to the mosque.
