Parliament approves $52 mln loan agreement

SANA'A, Feb. 09 (Saba) - The Parliament approved on Tuesday a loan agreement of the third stage of rural road project signed between Yemen and Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) amounting to $ 52 million.

The Parliament affirmed, during its session held under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Hymiar al-Ahmar, the importance of preparing rural road studies accurately in order to avoid any shortcomings or defects during the implementation process.

It also noted to the significance of taking into consideration the priority main and needed projects in the districts and according to the set standards and principles.

The parliament demanded the governorate to provide all the necessity financings to implement all of the projects components.
