Interior Minister receives letter from UAE counterpart

SANA'A, Jan. 26 (Saba) - Interior Minister Rashad al-Masri received on Tuesday a letter of from the Interior Minister of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The letter handed over to al-Masri by First Secretary of UAE embassy in Yemen dealt with of security cooperation between both countries.

The letter also included an invitation from the UAE Minister Sheikh Saif to al-Masri to participate in the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) Exhibition and Conference, to be held in Abu Dhabi on March 1– 3.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Rashad al-Masri held talks with the deputy British Ambassador to Yemen, Christopher Schott over aspects of security cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them.

At the meeting, Deputy British Ambassador praised the Yemen's efforts to encounter terrorism, applauding the pre-emptive raids the security authorities carried out against al-Qaeda last month.
