Yemen, ATO hold 1st official talks

SANA'A, Jan. 18 (Saba)- The 1st official talks session between the Ministry of Tourism and the Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) was held on Monday in Sana'a co-chaired by Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih and the ATO chairman Bandar aal-Fuheid.

The session reviewed the previous minutes and MoUs on joint cooperation between the ministry and the organization as well as means of reinforcing this kind of cooperation for the interest of the Yemeni and inter-Arab tourism.

During the session, they approved the establishment of the Arab council for managing tourism crises in Sana'a and the selection of 3D Media as the organizing company of the events of the Arab tourist and investment meeting which is to be held in November 2010 in Sana'a.

They also agreed on the special bases and steps to set up the international academy for hospitality and hotel which is set to be established in Yemen.
