Defense minister visits military and security units in Saada

SANA'A, Nov. 28 (Saba)- Minister of Defense Mohammed Nasar Ahmed paid on Saturday a visit to military and security units in Saada where he conveyed congratulations of President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Eid al Adha and 42nd anniversary of independence Day.

The minister also inspected condition of the troops, appreciating their brave role in fighting against al-Houthi gangs.

On the other hand, the chairman of General Staff Ahmed al-Ashwal visited military and security units in Mahadh, where he discussed with the commanders the latest developments in the battlefield against the elements of vandalism.

He confirmed continuance of the military operations against these elements until settling the stability and security in the region.

Saada province and Harf Sufyan district of Amran province have witnessed fighting between the army and al-Houthi elements of vandalism and terrorism since last August.
