10 scholarships allocated for Yemenis in Tunisia

SANA'A, Nov. 18 (Saba) - Yemen and Tunisia agreed on Wednesday on allocating 10 scholarships for Yemeni cadres in fields of hotel and tourism promotion.

The scholarships were allocated during a gathered Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih and the Tunisian ambassador to Sana'a Tawfiq Jaber, where the two sides reviewed ways of activating cooperation aspects between the two brotherly countries.

Al-Faqih and Jaber agreed on preparing an executive program for the cooperation agreement to be presented to the Yemeni-Tunisian committee that scheduled to hold its meeting on February in Sana'a.

The meeting affirmed Yemen's participation in Tunisia festival to be held in May 2010.

The Minister affirmed the depth of the cooperation relations between Yemen and Tunisia, inviting the Tunisian side to participate in the activities of Arab Tourism Investment Forum to hold in Sana'a during the coming year.

For his part, the Tunisian diplomat expressed his pleasure on choosing Tunisia as the honor guest in Sana'a Summer Festival in its coming round.

He also noted to the importance of activating cooperation aspects particularly in tourism services sector.
