WB study to improve air transport in Yemen discussed

SANA'A, Nov. 18 (Saba)- Minister of Transport Khaled Ibrahim al-Wazir met on Wednesday expert of aviation at the World Bank who is currently visiting Yemen over a study related to draw a strategy for developing air transportation in the country prepared by the bank.

The WB expert reviewed details of the study which focused on financial polices of different sectors of air transportation in the country.

The expert highlighted steps taken by the Yemeni government to reform the air transport sector in the country, affirming importance of the strategy.

For his part, the minister valued efforts exerted by the WB team to prepare the study which aimed at build future policies of the transport sector in Yemen.
