TOKYO, Nov. 18 (Saba)- On the sideline of his visit to Japan, Chairman of Yemen Coastguard Brigadier Ali Rasa discussed in Tokyo with Director of Japanese International Cooperation Agency JICA over mutual cooperation between Yemen and the agency in combating piracy .

Rasa reviewed challenges facing the Yemeni coastguard in combating piracy and smuggling acts, pointing to the importance of international support and the Japanese government for efforts of Yemen in this regard.

He also pointed out to the progress in building the infrastructure of the Yemeni coastguard body , saying that the body still needs for further assistance to do its task affectively.
