CAIRO, Nov. 17 (Saba) - Yemen has nominated the Ambassador Mohamed al-Rabe'a for the post of secretary-general of the Arab Economic Unity Council (AEUC) as a successor to the Egyptian Ahmed Jweily, whose mission will be expired by 2010.

The election's results will be announced next September.

Al-Rabe'a is the AEUC assistant secretary-general for five years. He is one of the economic experts in Yemen.
