SANA'A. Nov. 15 (Saba) - Saudi sources announced that Border Guard Forces have managed to captured a Houthi leader, the state-run 26sep.net reported on Sunday.

The Houthi leader is Ali Abdullah Ahmed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and was detained in the east of Gazan city, South-West the Saudi territories, according to Alarabiya T.V channel.

In a related context, Saudi Authorities have said they have arrested Houthi infiltrators with advanced spy technology.

Saudi sources said that the captured technological devices are used to decode the Saudi military Saudi military communication.

An investigation is underway to know the source of this technology, they said.

The Houthi insurgents have began sneaking into the Saudi border territories amid persistent confrontations between them and the Yemeni army.

As a result, Saudi troops launched land and air raids against the rebels, with Saudi Arabia saying retaking the area.

Al- Houthi rebels have launched intermittent wars against the troops since 2004 in the northern governorate of Sa'ada, which is located close to border with Saudi Arabia.

Hussein, the eldest brother of the current group leader Abdul-Malik, was killed by the army in September 2004.
