Yemen could end acts of outlaw elements in Saada, says SC chairman
[13/November/2009] SANA'A, Nov. 13 (Saba)- Chairman of Shoura Council Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani said on Friday that Yemen could bring an end for acts of outlaw elements in some regions of Saada.

In his speech to 4th conference of the Association of Senates, Shoora and Equivalent councils in Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA), Abdul Ghani for said that Yemen under leadership of president Ali Abdullah Saleh has enough power to end these acts.
The conference was concluded in the Moroccan capital, Rabat on Friday.

He said that the outlaw group of vandalism wants to disturb security and stability of Yemen and region in general, expressing thanks for Saudi Arabia and other world countries for their positions which support the unity and stability of Yemen.

Abdul Ghani confirmed commitment of Yemen with democracy and its principles of respecting human rights and freedom of expression.
Since mid of August, Saada province and Harf Sudyan of Amran province, north of Yemen, has witnessed confrontations between this group of rebellion and government forces.

Regarding situation in Palestine , the chairman of Shoura council expressed condemnation of Yemen for all attacks committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Palestinian occupied territories, renewing support of Yemen for rights of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation and set up their own independent state and al Quds as its capital.

He also announced support of Yemen for stability and unity of Sudanese territories and current Somali government.

Abdul Ghani pointed out to the role of the ASSECAA , wishing the association would pay further attention for issues related to sustainable development to face poverty by strengthening mutual economic cooperation between member countries of the association.
