Yemen, Mauritania talk on developing parliamentary relations

SANA'A, Nov.09 (Saba) - Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Rae'i met here on Monday with Mauritanian ambassador in Sana'a Mohammed Ould Aldah.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics of common concern including developing the parliamentary relations within the current bilateral cooperation between the two countries so as to serve the mutual interests.

Al-Rae'i affirmed on exchanging experiences in the parliamentary field, inviting the Mauritanian-Yemeni Parliamentary Friendship Association to visit Yemen and meet with its counterpart in the Yemeni parliament for consulting and coordinating on the bilateral cooperation areas.

He pointed the importance of developing the cooperation between the two countries in the economic areas and activating the investment activity between the Yemeni and Mauritanian businessmen, noting the suitable investment environment allowed in Yemen.

For his part, the Mauritanian ambassador praised the development witnessed by Yemen in the various fields, affirming the necessity of the constant developing for the bilateral relationship and cooperation between the two countries.
