Yemen, China discuss economic, trade cooperation aspects

SANA'A, Nov. 07 (Saba) - Yemen and China discussed Saturday the economic and trade bilateral cooperation aspects as well as ways of enhancing them.

A meeting between Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil and the Chinese ambassador to Yemen Liu Denglin reviewed the existing cooperation to develop Spinning and Weaving Factory in Sana'a and expanding Bagel Cement Factory.

The Minister also called on the Chinese companies to invest in Yemen's industrial zones.

The meeting affirmed the significance of increasing the trade exchanging level between the two friendly countries as well as developing their economic relations to reach the highest levels.

They also noted to the importance of obligating the Chinese companies to export the Chinese industrial products to Yemen markets according to specifications and quality adopted in Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO).
