OIC Chief Welcomes UN General Assembly Resolution on Goldstone Report

Jeddah, Nov. 06 (Saba) - Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu welcomed UN General Assembly adopting a resolution on the follow-up of report of Judge Goldstone on war crimes committed during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, calling to continue to work for achieving international justice and full implementation of the resolution, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Friday.

The OIC Chief commended in a statement released Friday the coordinated efforts by the group of ambassadors of the Islamic Organization in New York in order to ensure a majority vote on the resolution that reflects the international will rejecting the Israel''s violations in the Palestinian territories
