SNACC chairman heads for Doha

SANA'A, Nov. 06 (Saba)- Yemen is participating in the third session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption which will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, during 9-13 November.

Chairman of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) Ahmed al-Anisi told Saba, upon departure, that he will present the Yemeni experience in the field of fighting corruption and efforts it exerted in this respect with its local and international partners.

The committee is about to finish the national strategy for fighting corruption to be launched beginning of the coming year, he said.

Al-Anisi noted that the session will discuss three main topics concerning combating corruption, as well as reviewing implementation of the UN convention in this regard.
