Saleh honored with first-class loyalty order by Arab union
[05/November/2009]

SANA'A, Nov. 05 (Saba) – On behalf of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, minister of Transport Khalid Ibrahim al-Wazeer was awarded on Thursday the first-class loyalty order by the Arab Transport and Communication Workers' Union.

The order has been given to Saleh in recognition of his role in supporting the union's efforts and programs aimed at improving its performance in the best interest of Arab transport and communication workers within the union, President of the union Owaidat Khalaf Allah said.

The awarding took place during the meeting that gathered al-Wazeer and President of Khalaf Allah in Sana'a.

Khalaf Allah arrived in Yemen on Wednesday accompanied by a union delegation.

The goal of the visit was to discuss with Yemeni officials the bilateral relationship between Yemen and the union.

He expressed the union's support for Yemen to face all challenges, first and foremost economic obstacles. Al-Wazeer appreciated the awarding saying: It comes to reveal what the union has for President Saleh.
