Labor union leaders training course concluded in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 05 (Saba)- A training course for trade union leaderships was concluded on Thursday in Marib province.

The three-day course was organized by the Marib-based branch of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Yemen in cooperation with The United Federation of Trade Unions of Norway.

Attended by 25 participants from the leaderships of trade unions, the course aimed at defining the principles of trade union action and the proper exercise of the rights and freedoms.

During the sessions of the course, the participants discussed ways of activating the trade unions' roles and how to determine the roles and responsibilities of associations and unions as well as the problems and difficulties face the trade unions in the province.
