72 Ethiopian sneakers arrested in Abyan

SANA'A, Nov. 03 (Saba)- About 72 Ethiopians, including 15 women, have reached Yemeni shores in an unknown boat, Interior Ministry has reported.

Security authorities have said that the migrants who landed off Ahwar Coast in Abyan governorate tried to reach Aden city but they were stopped by the security forces and sent to the refugees camp in coordination with the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Security forces mentioned that the number of African migrants whom entered the country illegally have reached over 1555 including 1315 Ethiopians of which Taiz province has received 800.

Hajjah province has received 240 Sudanese, Nigerian and Chadian migrants.

A recent survey shows that about 38 sneaking cases registered from Yemeni lands to Saudi Arabia in October .
