President Saleh receives letter from British PM

SANA'A, Nov. 03 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday a letter from the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

The letter dealt with the mutual relations and aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in fields of security and combating terrorism.

Brown affirmed in his letter the British support to Yemen in economic and social reforms in order to achieve Yemen's development.

He also added that the United Kingdom (UK) would work with the international community for supporting Yemen's agenda in reforms areas and enhancing Yemen's ability in combating terrorism.

The letter was handed over by the Director of Defence and Strategic Threats at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Simon Manley.
