Yemen, Syria discuss enhancing economic cooperation

SANA'A, Nov. 02 (Saba) - Yemen and Syria discuss here on Monday ways of strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil held talks with the Syrian ambassador to Yemen Abdul Ghafor Sabouni on the role of the Yemeni-Syrian Technical Commercial Joint Committee in increasing commercial exchange between both countries and overcoming any obstacles in the way.

The talks also touched on mechanisms of triggering the outcomes of the 9th session meetings of the Yemeni-Syrian Supreme Joint Committee held in Damascus the last June.
