Sudanese President to visit Egypt next week

CAIRO, Nov. 02 (Saba)- Sudanese President Omer al-Bashir is to visit Egypt next week on an invitation of his counterpart Hosni Mubarak to participate at the Chinese - African Forum which is scheduled to be held in Sharm Al-Sheikh, Sudan News Agency (SUNA) has reported.

In a press statement after his meeting with President Mubarak, Sudanese Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail said President al-Bashir is keen to take part at this forum on Sudan capacity as the chairman of the G 77 Group and China.

He referred to preparations being carried out in Khartoum for holding meetings of the joint Sudanese-Egyptian ministerial committee before the end of the current year.

Ismail handed President Mubarak a message from al-Bashir on the developments in Sudan and the bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
