Transport Minister returns home

SANA'A, Nov. 01 (Saba)- Minister of Transport Khalid al-Wazir returned on Sunday to Sana'a following his participation in the 22nd regular round of Arab Transport Ministers Council, held recently in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Upon arrival, the minister told Saba that the Council discussed a number of issues and topics related to developing the various Arab transport fields, in addition to discussing the special steps over performance of the border passages and improving logistical systems as well as establishing a committee to facilitate transport and trade among the Council member countries due to the importance of the border passages in the process of transport and trade.

The minister added that the Council approved to assign a committee to facilitate transport and trade in the Council to study situations and procedures of the land border outlets and the logistical systems in the Arab countries.
