Saudi Health Ministry: 2 wave of H1N1 virus started
[30/October/2009]

RIYADH, Oct. 30 (Saba) The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the second wave of the A H1N1 virus had begun in early October warning it might be the fastest spreading wave among humans, Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

In its statement, the ministry attributed the increased number of registered A H1N1 cases to the decrease in temperature.

"The ministry has noted a rise in the number of cases in the Kingdom", the ministry said.

The ministry, while urging citizens to take all necessary preventive precautions stated in the National Preventive Plan, reassured that it has mobilized all its resources to combat the virus. It also urged citizens to report any cases and seek immediate treatment.
