Doha, Oct. 29 (Saba) - Qatar and South Korea signed Thursday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on security cooperation in areas of common interests and the fight against crime, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Thursday.
The MoU was signed for Qatar by Director General of Public Security H.E. Maj. Gen. Saad bin Jassem al-Khulaifi, and for Korea by Commissioner-General of Korean Police National Agency Kang Hee-rak.
The MoU stipulates the exchange of information and experiences in the field of training and utilization of expertise between the two countries.
The MoU signing was attended by H.E. the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
