DOHA, Oct. 27 (Saba) – Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani will leave on Tuesday for the Saudi capital Riyadh for a short fraternal visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Tuesday.
The Emir will have talks with the Custodian of the two holy mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
Saudi daily newspapers underlined the importance of the Emir of Qatar's visit to Saudi Arabia.
The talks between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and H.H. the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will cover bilateral relations and means of bolstering them in all fields, in addition to key regional and international issues of mutual concern, the Saudi papers (Al-Youm) and (Al-Watan) noted in their editorials today.
Titled "The Kingdom and Qatar... The Joint GCC Challenge", Al-Youm newspaper highlighted the strong fraternal relations between the GCC countries which stemmed from their joint historical geographical joint and their destiny as the largest economic center in the world.
The Emir's visit to the Kingdom today and his meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stemmed from the joint strategic vision of the GCC Leaders which underline the joint GCC work in the face of all Arab, regional and international challenges, the paper said.
Meanwhile, Al-Watan daily said the Qatari-Saudi relations are getting stronger day after day which indicates the awareness of the importance of the joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
The paper noted that current critical Arab situation needs a regional cooperation and an Arab united position to face the challenges and fulfill the joint interests of all GCC and Arab countries.
The Qatari and Saudi people are looking forward to the outcomes of the meeting between the Emir of Qatar and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which would further strengthen the integration in the relations in all areas of politics, security, economy, culture, trade, tourism and others.
