Somalia President in Yemen

SANA'A, Oct. 26 (Saba) - President of Somalia Sheikh Ahmed Sharif arrived in Yemen on Monday in a few day visit to the country.

During the visit, Sharif will hold talks with President Ali Abdullah Saleh to brief him on the situation in Somalia and efforts made to bring stability and peace to Somalia.

"The visit aims to deepen the bilateral relations, exchange point of views and to activate the joint Arab action towards all unstable areas either in Somalia or in other countries", Sharif told Saba, upon his arrival.

He praised the attention President Saleh pays towards the Somali issues.

The Somali President was welcomed at the Sana'a International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.
