Egypt always ready to support Yemen: Mubarak says

CAIRO, Oct. 20 (Saba) - Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak said on Tuesday that Egypt is always ready to offer all kinds of support to Yemen.

Mubarak's statement came during his meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, who handed over a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh to President Mubarak concerning the coordination of the Yemen and Egypt's attitudes towards several Arab and regional issues.

The letter showed Yemen efforts to face the rebellion destructive actions in Sa'ada which threatening the country's safety and stability.

It also expressed President Saleh's gratitude for Egypt's humanitarian aid provided to alleviate Sa'ada displaced people's suffering.

During the meeting, Mubarak reaffirmed its supportive position toward Yemen's unity and stability, accentuating Egypt's rejection of any external interference in Yemen's internal affairs.
