President Saleh meets National Body for Popular Support officials

SANA'A, Oct. 17 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday members of the National Body for Popular Support (NBPS).

Saleh was briefed by the NBPS members on the body's activities in supporting military and security forces, and its national mission to support the fight against rebellion in Saada.

Head of the body Zaied Hajar talked over the activities done by the NBPS, making reference to the success achieved by the blood donation campaign which was organized by the body.

He highlighted on the popular efforts that would support the official effort to present care for the displaced people in the camps in various fields.

For his part, President Saleh hailed the body's efforts, saying those efforts appreciated and this is not strange to the Yemeni people who are known for their cooperation.

He affirming that this war was imposed on the state, pointing out to the importance of establishing branches for the national body in the governorates and areas where there are camps for the displeased people.

The body presented to president Saleh a document stamped with blood talking about the body establishment and its mission to support the government gainst rebellion.
